We recall the closing event of the Ingenia Energy Challenge Roadshow held on December 20 at the company’s Energy Venture Center.
This innovation and acceleration center serves as a robust hub for Enagás’s portfolio companies, providing support during their acceleration processes and fostering collaboration among them.
The day began with inspiring words from Jesús Saldaña, General Director of Business Development and Portfolio Companies of Enagás Emprende, who highlighted Enagás’s ongoing commitment to entrepreneurship and innovation. Saldaña recalled the various innovative initiatives that Enagás has driven in recent years, thus establishing a strong track record of supporting the transformation of the energy sector.
Members of the Enagás Innovation and Corporate Venture team, such as María Ochoa, Alejandro Asensi, and Antonio Monzón, detailed the Ingenia Energy Challenge program. They shared not only how the program works but also success stories from previous editions, highlighting the significant advantages of participating in this initiative.
A round table titled “Driving the Energy Transition with Corporate Support,” moderated by Javier Pollos, co-founder of the Podcast del Hidrógeno, featured prominent entrepreneurs including Miguel Frasquet Herraiz, CEO of SOLATOM, and Mario Carrero Maroto, CEO of H2Green. Both entrepreneurs shared their positive experiences and emphasized the importance of Enagás’s support in developing innovative energy solutions.
Miguel Frasquet recalled his selection as a finalist in the previous edition, while Mario Carrero highlighted the key collaboration with Enagás in installing a green hydrogen production plant. The resilience of entrepreneurs in the face of challenges and unforeseen events was also discussed, with input from J.Fabián Plaza, President and Co-founder of Zero&Global.
Regarding the current status of Ingenia, we want to remind participants that the registration period closed on January 15 and we are currently in the proposal analysis phase.
