The company endorses its commitment to young entrepreneurs who work to support the energy transition and, especially, in the development of renewable gases
The General Management of Enagás Emprende has signed its first support agreement with an external company, Trovant Technology.
The startup project consists of the development of a new technology for the cleaning and upgrading of biogas, based on biological processes. These stages of purification are key for the use of biogas in energy applications, mobility or its network injection.
With this contract, Enagás Emprende places value on the experience and methodology developed thanks to the previous incubation of eleven internal projects, winners of Ingenia Business, and that have concluded in the creation of seven startups promoted by professionals of the company.
The incubation phase of a startup consists in the analysis and development of a viable business plan where four concepts are validated before launching a product or service, such as market, industry and competitors, commercial strategy and financial plan.
To enable this business plan, Enagás gives specific training and internal mentoring with top management and external entrepreneurs with success. In this case, Carlos Ruiz, Director of Sustainability and Risks, and María Sansigre, Investment Director of the Demeter Partners fund, will act as mentors. In order to take advantage of synergies in the organization, Trovant will be able to have a physical space in Enagás.
At the conclusion of the one-year incubation contract, Enagás Emprende may exercise its right to convert the value of the incubation services into shares of the company or to have preferential commercial agreements.
Enagás reinforces its interest and solid commitment to biogas and renewable gas with the support of the Trovant Technology project.
