At Enagás Emprende, we celebrate a new strategic milestone achieved by our portfolio company Satlantis, which continues to strengthen its leadership in advanced Earth observation technologies with the launch of its eighth mission: the GARAI B – InnoSat Unamuno satellite.

This new milestone reinforces Satlantis’ position as a global player in the development of high value-added space solutions, aligned with the energy transition and the sustainable monitoring of the planet.
The launch was successfully carried out aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket as part of the Transporter-16 mission, reaching a sun-synchronous orbit at an altitude of between 500 and 550 kilometres.

Next-generation technology for Earth observation
GARAI B – InnoSat Unamuno is part of a new generation of microsatellites of approximately 100 kg developed by Satlantis, designed to meet the growing demands of the Earth observation market.
The satellite incorporates an advanced next-generation optical system based on proprietary iSIM-90 and iSIM-170 cameras, capable of capturing very high-resolution images through a combination of visible, near-infrared (NIR), short-wave infrared (SWIR) and polarimetric channels, as well as offering video capabilities and high agility.
These capabilities enable the generation of more precise, faster and more comprehensive information, facilitating key applications in sectors such as energy, environment, security and critical infrastructure monitoring.
One of the key differentiating features of this mission is its onboard data fusion capability, which significantly enhances observation efficiency and enables near real-time information to be obtained within a single system.
Driving solutions for a more sustainable future
At Enagás Emprende, we support Satlantis in its growth as a key technology company within the European ecosystem, convinced that innovation in Earth observation will be essential to advance decarbonisation and the efficient management of resources.
The solutions developed by Satlantis enable, among other uses, improved emissions monitoring, optimisation of energy management, and the provision of strategic data for decision-making in complex environments, directly contributing to sustainability and energy transition goals.
This new launch adds to the company’s sustained growth trajectory, which already includes a constellation of advanced satellites and a highly competitive technological model at an international level.

Innovation and collaboration to lead change
The development of this mission has involved collaboration with technological partners such as OHB Sweden, reflecting the importance of international cooperation in advancing space technologies.
Enagás Emprende thus reaffirms its commitment to supporting deep tech startups like Satlantis, which combine innovation, talent and a global vision to deliver high-impact solutions.
We will continue to invest in projects that contribute to building a more efficient, digitalised and sustainable energy system, leveraging key technologies such as Earth observation.
