It is a contest where startups and technology-based companies have presented ideas responding to the challenges of eleven large companies, including Enagás
Through Enagás Emprende, the company has participated in an open innovation initiative promoted by the National Association of European Business and Innovation Centers (Ances) to encourage new business ideas. More than 100 startups and technology-based companies submitted their projects.
Each of the eleven large companies that have been part of this initiative, among which was Enagás, together with Iberdrola, Gonvarri or Ferrovial, among others, have challenged the participants. In the case of Enagás Emprende, the projects addressed new technologies for the production and transportation of renewable gases as the path for decarbonisation.
The Cartagena company Navalco Solutions was the winner of the challenge launched by Enagás Emprende for its proposal of new solutions in maritime transport with LNG. Both companies have already held the first meeting to analyze the possibility of including their project within the CORE LNGas hive program, which Enagás is currently leading.
The final projects were presented at a gala held at the CEU Business School facilities on May 30, where an award was delivered for each challenge.
