Innovation training day for Ingenia Energy Challenge participants

Ingenia Energy Challenge participants received training in innovation and creativity from Xavier Marcet as a recognition of their commitment and effort.

The Enagás Emprende training center recently hosted a training and recognition event for employees who participated in the fifth edition of the Ingenia Energy Challenge. Regardless of the outcomes of their proposals, all teams had the opportunity to attend a session on “Innovation and Creativity” led by Xavier Marcet, a renowned expert in organizational strategy and transformation with over fifteen years of experience.

The session was opened by Jesús Saldaña, General Director of Business Development and Invested Companies at Enagás, who highlighted the importance of such events in strengthening innovation capabilities within the company. Throughout the day, Xavier Marcet shared his experience and insights, addressing key topics for innovation in 21st-century companies, from the importance of creativity to the role of artificial intelligence in human life and the market.

Practical and Participatory Training

The agenda for the day included three practical and interactive sessions. The first session, “Innovation in the Context of 21st-Century Companies,” was followed by “Innovating in Innovation,” in which Marcet emphasized the need for companies to think about the legacy they leave behind, and how consistency and balance in management are essential for effective leadership. The afternoon continued with two “Playing Cards” workshops aimed at strengthening the culture of innovation, exploring competencies such as creativity and teamwork.

Key Reflections and Learnings for the Future

Marcet left the attendees with some inspiring reflections: “When people change, organizations change,” “The risk is not to innovate,” and “Ambition for projects, humility to listen.” These ideas underscore the importance of a balanced approach between strategy, innovation, and human talent as drivers of change, emphasizing that, in Marcet’s words, “companies are communities of people.”

An Event to Boost Talent and Innovation

The day concluded with a final reflection on the importance of fostering an innovative intuition in companies. Events like this one underscore Enagás Emprende’s commitment to the professional development of its employees, providing the space and resources needed to drive creativity and innovation—fundamental values in the context of the energy transition.

With initiatives like Ingenia Energy Challenge, Enagás continues to position itself as a leader in corporate entrepreneurship and sustainability, promoting a culture of innovation that enables the development of forward-looking solutions in the energy sector.
