Description: Scale Gas, this is one of the first three projects created in Enagás’ Corporate Entrepreneurship and Open Innovation Programme. It is led by two internal entrepreneurs, and aims to develop small and medium scale LNG. This new company is linked to two vectors of growth in demand for natural gas: the supply of natural gas to remote areas in small volumes, and its use as a fuel in transport. This new company scales the traditional Enagás business model, putting to use all the Group’s know-how in terms of LNG infrastructure management. Scale Gas invests, builds, operates and maintains infrastructures linked to the development of the logistics chain required to meet an increasingly dispersed and delocalised demand for LNG. As a company of the Enagás Group, Scale Gas is a global partner specialising in solutions and services related to LNG infrastructures, but with a structure adjusted to the needs of a dynamic and innovative market.
